12. User Classes > Controls > Button Text
One of the exciting and helpful ways in which to customize the WilsonWeb
interface for the user’s research experience is for the library’s
administrator to customize button text. The Button Text screen
allows the user to change the look of the left navigation frame (left
toolbar) of the application. The choices for each button can be viewed
from the dropdown boxes under the New Name column. Customization is
allowed for User Class; switching of classes is done through the For User
Class dropdown in the upper part of the screen.
First, click Controls. Several appropriate buttons will then appear
on the left toolbar, including Button Text. Then, click Button Text.
To change button text:
-
Choose the User Class.
-
Click in the checkbox next to the button(s) you want to
modify.
-
Select an alternative name from the corresponding
drop-down list on the right.
-
Click Save.
-
Click Reset to Default Names to restore the
settings to the default behavior.
Remember to assign User Class to a valid access type.
