13. User Classes > Controls > Toolbars
The Toolbar Text screen enables the administrator to change the
look of the bottom navigation bar by replacing the system default text
with new text. Customization is allowed for each class of user. First,
click Controls. Several appropriate buttons will then appear on the
left toolbar, including the Toolbar button. Then, click Toolbar.
The purpose of this screen is similar to the Button Text screen;
however, the desired text is typed into the New Name space
provided. This allows for full customization of the bottom taskbar text.
Note: The administrator should be very careful when changing
toolbar text. The new names should not be lengthy or they may not fit (and
will not be visible) on windows that are not maximized or on computers at
a low resolution (640x480 or 800X600).
To change link words in the bottom taskbar:
-
Choose the User Class.
-
Click in the checkbox next to the word(s) you want to
modify.
-
Enter an alternative name for the selected link.
-
Click Save.
Click Reset to Default Names to restore the settings to the default
behavior.
Notes:
-
Very long words may not fit (or display) on computers
set at a low resolution, or on windows that are not maximized.
-
To emphasize certain words on the bottom taskbar, you
may want to consider capitalizing the word(s).
For example: PREVIOUS or NEXT
