20. User Classes > Access > IP Address Access

This screen gives administrators the ability to assign IP addresses provided by the HW Wilson Access Control system to administrator-defined User Classes. These ranges are visible under the header IP Ranges Assigned to Customer. By default, the HW Wilson Access Control system gives an IP address range to the default group. Once this range is assigned to a different User Group, the IP address only belongs to the newly assigned group.

It is up to the administrator to assign an IP Address range to an administrator-defined User Group. This can be done in two ways. The administrator can either enter an IP range or single IP address and the message will be returned to let the administrator know that the action was a success. Once there are administrator-defined IP ranges assigned to User Classes, these ranges will be displayed at the bottom of the page under the header IP Ranges Distributed to User Classes.

First, click on the Access button. Several appropriate buttons will then appear on the left toolbar, including the IP Address Access button.

Click IP Address Access.

An IP range can be deleted by simply choosing the appropriate IP range from the select box after the header Delete Access To Existing Range: then click Delete.

Note: If you wish to add or change the TCP/IP addresses reflected, please contact Tech Support.
