4. Site Administration > Configure Terminal
After clicking on the Site Administration button, three additional buttons
including the Configure Terminal button (setting a cookie), will appear in
the left toolbar. Click Configure Terminal if it is not already selected.
The purpose of this screen is to allow the library’s system administrator
to create a user ID and Password for the purposes of configuring a
specific terminal, if desired. Entering an ID and Password sets a cookie
(enabling/activating a version of auto access) on the computer so that a
user (other than the administrator) is logged into WilsonWeb
automatically.
This screen also gives the user the opportunity to unconfigure the
terminal that is being used as well. When the cookie has been deleted from
the machine, the user will be required to log into the system through an
alternative method.
Once a terminal is configured, you must use the following URL:
http://vnweb.hwwilsonweb.com/hww
To configure the terminal:
Enter the User’s Login ID and Password.
To set automatic login for a user:
Click Configure Terminal.
To delete the automatic login for a user:
Click Unconfigure Terminal.
