Humanities Periodicals Indexer
An entry-level Humanities Periodicals Indexer for Humanities Index. Subject areas indexed include archaeology, classical studies, communications, gender studies, literature, performing arts, philosophy, and related fields. A liberal arts degree is required. An MLS preferred. The ability to work in a variety of subject areas is expected. Candidates must reside in the greater New York metropolitan area. The Company is offering excellent starting salary and benefits including 4 weeks of vacation.


Cataloger

Core Collections Cataloger
An entry-level Cataloger, Core Collections to assist in Collections and Database development. Wilson's Core Collection include Standard Catalogs, a librarian's resource for collection development, High School Catalogs, Public Library Catalogs, and Fiction Catalogs. A Liberal Arts degree in Humanities or Literature is required. An MLS is preferred with familiarization with Anglo-American Cataloging rules. Candidates must reside in the greater New York metropolitan area. The Company is offering excellent starting salary and benefits including 4 weeks of vacation.


Information Systems

ColdFusion Programmer
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent. Minimum 2 years work experience as a ColdFusion developer. Strong experience and knowledge of SQL (SQL Server), ColdFusion MX and MX7. Candidate should be proficient in the following: FrontPage or Dreamweaver, HTML, Photoshop/Fireworks, Flash, CSS, Java, Oracle. The Company is offering excellent starting salary and benefits including 4 weeks of vacation.

Network Engineer
The Network Engineer's position requires a candidate with 5 years of senior level networking experience including hardware and software applications. A degree in computer science or certification in networking is required. The Network Engineer must have knowledge of UNIX-based web systems, Linux and Solaris, Lan and Wan policies, relational databases SQl and Oracle, Verity and other search engines, Microsoft exchange, etc. The Company is offering an excellent starting salary, and benefits including 4 weeks vacation.


Librarian

Library Cataloguer
An entry-level cataloguer for the H.W. Wilson Names Department. The cataloguer will be responsible for the identification, verification, and formulation of new personal, corporate, and uniform title names, and the name cross-references in accordance with the latest Anglo-American Cataloguing rules and practices established by The H. W. Wilson Company. Candidates must reside in the greater New York metropolitan area. The Company is offering excellent starting salary and benefits including 4 weeks of vacation.
