for Index to Legal Periodicals Full Text

Twenty-five
select journals have been added to coverage delivered by Index to
Legal Periodicals Full Text, bringing the total to more than
1,000. The new journals (listed below) expand the database's
international scope, and focus on a range of key subjects in law.
Coverage of the new journals will start with their January 2004
issues.
Index to Legal Periodicals Full Text brings
users complete articles cover to cover from nearly 200 periodicals
(in full text and PDF page images), along with detailed indexing of
over 1,000 sources in total. Some 1,400 monographs per year are also
indexed. Index entries reach back more than two decades, and records
are added in daily updates.
This is a valuable resource for attorneys,
educators, business people, law librarians, students, paralegals,
and others working with the law. Users enjoy international coverage
of law journals, law reviews, yearbooks, and bar association,
university, and government publications—including sources from the
U.S., Great Britain, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
The 25 new journals will also be added to Index
to Legal Periodicals & Books, an index-only version of the
database.
The new titles were chosen with the help of the
Index to Legal Periodicals Editorial Advisory Committee, which meets
annually to review prospective additions to coverage. Additions are
considered on the basis of content, scholarship, and permanent
reference value. The Committee is composed of law librarians,
professors of law, and practicing attorneys from around the U.S.
