H.W. WILSON ANNOUNCES CHINA
New Reference Shelf Volume Presents an
Up-to-Date Perspective on an Evolving PRC
New York, New York, September 18th,
2002
The
H.W. Wilson Company today announced the publication of China,
a new volume in the Reference Shelf book
series. China
presents a balanced discussion of the nation’s role on the
world’s political stage and its evolving place in the global
market, U.S.-China relations, plus explorations of internal
issues, such as crime, liberalization, poverty, and others.
Statistics and important facts about the geography, economy,
government, communications, transportation, and population of
China are also delivered in a helpful appendix.
China is the fifth volume published in the
2002 Reference Shelf Series, which also includes Changing
U.S. Demographics, Energy Policy, Religion in
Politics and Society, and Health Care. A sixth
volume, Representative American Speeches 2001 – 2002,
will be published in December 2002.
Each book in the Reference Shelf series offers a
complete exploration of a current topic, in a compilation of
some 25 notable articles from respected publications. Reference
Shelf volumes are outstanding, one-stop sources of up-to-date
information and opinion, with coverage of virtually every angle
on the issues. They’re also the perfect starting point for
extended research: each provides abstracts of 20 to 30
additional articles and a bibliography of other sources.
