H.W. Wilson Foundation Gives
$50,000 to ALA Hurricane Katrina Library Relief Fund
New York, New York, November 16, 2005
The H.W. Wilson Foundation today announced a $50,000 donation to
the American Library Association's Hurricane Katrina Library
Relief Fund.
The Hurricane Katrina Library Relief Fund will
help libraries in the ravaged Gulf Coast region to rebuild their
collections. More than 1,000 ALA individual and corporate
members have contributed, and the H.W. Wilson donation will
boost the fund to over $150,000.
In addition, the H.W. Wilson Company announced
that it will work with any library that suffered a major loss
because of Hurricane Katrina. Affected libraries are encouraged
to contact the Company's
customer service department if they need to replace H.W.
Wilson titles.
