Can Now Access Complete Articles from Over 200 Journals

The
WilsonWeb database Index to Legal Periodicals Full Text is aggressively
expanding the number of outstanding journals it delivers in full text, H.W.
Wilson today announced. The recent addition of 21 core sources, including the
acclaimed Law Library Journal, brings the total reflected in full text
to 208. The database also indexes the cover-to-cover content of some 1,000
journals (plus some 1,400 monographs per year). Full text rights for
additional sources are in negotiation.
In addition to the full text
provided in Index to Legal Periodicals Full Text, a built-in WilsonLink
SFX feature allows users to click to additional full text from any of their
library's other Open-URL compliant databases—at no additional charge.
This is a valuable resource for
attorneys, researchers, law librarians, students, paralegals, and others
working with the law. Users enjoy international coverage of law journals, law
reviews, yearbooks, and bar association, university, and government
publications—including sources from the U.S., Great Britain, Ireland,
Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
In Spring 2004, Wilson plans to
release Index to Legal Periodicals Retrospective: 1918-1981. This
unique new database will make the content of over 500 law periodicals as far
back as 1918 searchable for the first time in electronic form. This
retrospective database will contain the indexing from 28 printed cumulations
of Index to Legal Periodicals & Books, a library classic since it
was launched over 80 years ago. Index to Legal Periodicals & Books—an
index-only database—is still available online and in print.
