H.W. Wilson Company
Mark Gauthier Named H.W. Wilson Vice President, Indexing
and Editorial Services
Joseph Miller Named H.W. Wilson Vice President,
Cataloging and General Referenc

The H.W. Wilson Company today announced promotions for two
Wilson executives to Vice President positions: Mark Gauthier
has become H.W. Wilson Vice President, Indexing and Editorial
Services, and Joseph Miller, H.W. Wilson Vice President,
Cataloging and General Reference.
Mark Gauthier was formerly Director of
Indexing and Editorial Services, managing editorial and production
operations for the full line of H.W. Wilson indexes, Current
Biography, plus Wilson's Full Text Administration, Names Department,
and Subject Authority Files. He also coordinates the editorial
studies conducted by the ALA Reference and User Services
Association's Committee on Wilson Indexes. He began his career with
H.W. Wilson in 1988.
Mr. Gauthier holds a BA in French from the
University of Vermont, an MSLS from Catholic University of America,
and is currently enrolled in the MBA program in Operations
Management at Baruch College, City University of New York. He is a
member of the American Library Association and the American Society
for Information Science & Technology.
Joseph Miller is the former Director of
Cataloging and General Reference. He manages the Wilson Standard
Catalogs department, Book Review Digest, Bibliographic Index,
and General Reference (which includes The Reference Shelf
book series and various reference monographs). He is also editor of
the Sears List of Subject Headings. He began his career with
H.W. Wilson in 1989.
Mr. Miller holds a BA in English from Carroll
College, an MLS degree from State University of New York, Albany,
and a PhD in English from Princeton University. He is a member of
the American Library Association (ALCTS).
