Frank Daly Appointed H.W. Wilson
Director of Marketing

H.W. Wilson today announced the appointment of Frank Daly to the
position of Director of Marketing. Mr. Daly will work with VP of
Sales & Marketing Deborah Loeding to develop, implement, and monitor
marketing and sales programs for Wilson databases and print
products.
Mr. Daly has more than 25 years of experience in
the information industry. He is a frequent author and speaker on a
variety of industry topics, including trends, metadata, and
e-content. He participated in the development of ONIX, and xml
replacements for x12 transactions. His accomplishments also include
developing and implementing a wide variety of electronic ordering
services, from handheld terminals to web-based applications, as well
as creating information products for CD-ROM and the web.
Mr. Daly's experience with library markets
includes work as Director of Public Library and School Marketing and
Vice-President, Business Development for Baker & Taylor. He has also
served as Executive Director of the Book Industry Study Group, and
is currently on the advisory board of Clarion University's School of
Library Science.
Mr. Daly holds an M.B.A. in marketing from Fordham
University and a B.B.A. degree in marketing from the University of
