Two New Yearbooks for Current Biography Family of References

Two new annuals have been published in the Current Biography family of references, H.W. Wilson today announced, featuring between them almost 400 in-depth profiles of prominent people from 2003.

Current Biography Yearbook 2003 and Current Biography International Yearbook 2003 offer objective, well-documented biographical profiles of living leaders in a wide range of fields of human accomplishment. Current Biography Yearbook 2003 delivers the complete content of all 2003 issues of the popular Current Biography monthly magazine, with updated information. Current Biography International Yearbook 2003 focuses exclusively on people making history and headlines outside the U.S., with original profiles written specifically for this resource, none of them previously published in the monthly issues of Current Biography or in the regular Current Biography yearbooks.

Current Biography Yearbook 2003 features 192 profiles in total—rich, engaging exploration of the lives of such notables as Sia Michel, Editor in Chief of Spin magazine; ethnobotanist and anthropologist Wade Davis; Mattel Inc. President and CEO Robert A. Eckert; athlete Marshall Faulk; comedian Will Ferrel; the rock band Counting Crows; U.S. Representative from Pennsylvania Chaka Fattah; choreographer and dancer William Forsythe; basketball player Becky Hammon; harpist Ann Hobson Pilot; Kraft Foods Co-CEO Betsy Holden; chemist Isabella Karle; St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa; actress and activist Vanessa Redgrave; performance artist Jim Rose, and many others.
