H.W. Wilson Company Award Presented to
Information Professionals from Florida State University
at 2006 Special Library Association Conference
New York, New York, July 6, 2006
"The Information Professional's Role in Creating
Business Management Systems," an article published in
the September 2005 issue of Information Outlook, has
earned this year's H.W. Wilson Company Award for five
scholars from the Center for Information, Training, and
Evaluation Services at Florida State University.
Associate Director Rebecca Augustyniak,
Information Systems Librarian Amy Finley,
Information Manager Dawn Aguero, Coordinator, Web
Application Engineering Blair Monroe, and Web
Application Engineer Brian Arsenault received the
award at the Opening General Session of the SLA 2006
Conference at the Baltimore (Maryland) Convention
Center.
The H.W. Wilson Award is presented
each year to authors of outstanding articles from
Information Outlook, the monthly magazine published
by the Special Library Association. Honorees also
receive a check for $500.
H.W. Wilson also sponsors (with the
Library Administration and Management Association) the
John Cotton Dana Awards for outstanding library public
relations.
