STANTON NAMED PRESIDENT OF H.W. WILSON FOUNDATION

The H.W. Wilson
Foundation today announced that William E. Stanton, Esq., has
been elected President of The H.W. Wilson Foundation. Mr.
Stanton has served on the Board of the Foundation as
Vice-President and Secretary since 1999. He will succeed William
V. Joyce, who passed away on June 1, 2002. Mr. Joyce also served
as a Vice-President of the H.W. Wilson Company.
The H.W. Wilson
Foundation, a philanthropic board devoted to library causes, is
best known for its scholarship grants to graduate library
schools in the U.S. and Canada. Recently, the Foundation also
began distributing development grants to winners of the yearly
John Cotton Dana Award for Library Public Relations. The John
Cotton Dana Awards are jointly sponsored by The American Library
Association, The H.W. Wilson Company, and The H.W. Wilson
Foundation. The H.W. Wilson Foundation was established in 1952.
