David Caven Appointed H.W. Wilson
Southwest Sales Representative
New York, New York, July 30, 2007
H.W. Wilson today announced the appointment of David Caven
as Sales Representative for the Southwest territory. Mr. Caven
becomes the WilsonWeb sales and support contact for libraries in
Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas, reporting to
National Sales Manager Nancy Kolady.
David Caven brings valuable experience with
library markets to his new position. As a Library Systems Consultant
for Auto-Graphics, Inc., Mr. Caven sold web-based library systems
and portal products to aid libraries in integrating their electronic
references. As Account Executive for Endeavor Information Systems,
Mr. Caven sold database applications software to academic libraries
in an eleven states. While an Account Executive at Epixtech, he
worked with academic, public, school and special libraries. He has
also held account management and sales positions with various
information system and educational software development firms
outside of the library market.
Mr. Caven holds a BA degree in English and
American Literature from the University of California at San Diego.
