Postage and Handling
All subscription orders will be shipped via the U.S.
Postal Service. The charge will be 5% of your net billing, U.S. or Canada,
or 8% international, with a minimum of $1.75, except subscription services
(disc and print) which will be billed at a rate between $3.00 and $20.00
per subscription, depending on frequency and weight.
Books and other H W Wilson Company publications will also be shipped via
U.S. Postal Service unless an alternate shipping method is specified at
the time of order.
Sales Tax
Sales tax will be charged on taxable sales in the
following states: California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New York, Ohio,
Texas, and Virginia. In Canada, GST tax will be charged on taxable sales.
Back Orders
If a title is temporarily out of stock or not yet
published, we will backorder until the title is available, at which time
it will be billed and shipped. Please indicate on your order if you want
unavailable titles handled differently.
Service Basis Pricing/Price Quotations
Certain Wilson publications are priced according to the
Service Basis. The price for a print periodical index is based on the
degree of service or use the index provides for the particular library
that subscribes to it. Service Basis Periodicals pricing requires the
ordering institution to fill out a checklist of the periodicals in its
collection covered by the desired index.
The price for a print index is based on a three-year
average of the ordering institution's annual book budget. The ordering
institution must supply book budget figures (expenditures for books
exclusive of periodicals and bindings) for the last three fiscal years to
the Wilson Customer Relations Department, which will calculate a
three-year average and determine a price quotation. This price quotation
and an order form will be sent back to the ordering institution for
approval.

Disaster Replacement Policy
Any library suffering a major loss due to a disaster
such as fire, flood, tornadoes, and hurricanes will be entitled to a 50%
discount on all H.W. Wilson replacement titles needed to rebuild its
collection.
Payment Terms
Orders from individuals must be prepaid with a credit
card. Schools and libraries can use a purchase order. Use the H.W. Wilson
secure Shopping Cart for fastest service for orders using either credit
card or purchase order. Payment on all H.W. Wilson invoices is due 30 days
from date of invoice.
Returns
To enable us to process your return as quickly as
possible, please contact the Customer Service Department and include your
customer account number and the invoice number on which the book, disc, or
videocassette appears.
The H. W. Wilson Guarantee
If you are not 100% satisfied with any product or
service, just return the product or cancel the service within 60 days and
we will refund your money, credit your account, replace the product, or
provide you with another of equal value.
